Santa Claus - Package Delivery

I just finished my second run as Santa in 2024. 2023 felt like a whirlwind – a crash course of information that left my head spinning. But this past year? Much smoother. I had time to prepare, double-check the list, and really get to know the ins and outs of certain cities.

One of the best parts has been experiencing the joy of repeat customers. In my first year, I didn’t know many of the kids I delivered to. Now, I see familiar faces, remember names, and know exactly what they’re hoping for under the tree. I’ve even started checking their highlights – the good ones for the nice kids, and the not-so-good ones for those on the naughty list.

But what stands out most is seeing each child’s level of empathy and sympathy. It’s important to know the difference. Some of these kids feel the weight of the world’s sorrows without even understanding why – and I believe that’s something special. They’re not chasing fame or fortune, and they don’t need material things. They’re here to make the world better – to lift others up.

Before I became Santa, I believed in the power of connection – that we’re all linked, and the best thing we can do is build each other up, not tear each other down. I still believe that, and now, I get to see the magic of it firsthand, one Christmas at a time.
