Santa’s Speech on Christmas Eve

The last Santa left me a letter. When I opened it, it was a Christmas eve speech. The elves told me he always gave a speech before the big run. I decided it was bet to share his words.

Ho, Ho, Ho! Merry Christmas Eve!

I'm filled with excitement for the night ahead. It's a night where dreams come true, and the spirit of giving, takes the lead.

First off, I need to thank each and everyone of you to make this night possible. This incredible team has worked tirelessly throughout the year. The dedication and creativity in this room will change lives.

Without all of you…

Managing throughout the year, Taking notes on each child, keeping the list up to date, Making toys, taking care of the reindeer, scheduling the flight, keeping me in shape and so much more.

I... truly couldn't do it without you.

Special shout out to Sparkle for her innovative toy designs...

Rose for her endless work organizing the naughty and nice list...

and little Charlie elf for his tiny hands that can fix the smallest imperfections.

Let's give them a round of applause!

I want to take a moment to thank Mrs. Claus for her endless support and love.

And of course, We couldn't do any of this without our crew of trusty reindeer.

I remember when we first started this whole Christmas thing. We were flying by the seat of our pants, weren't we? We had no organization, not even a list of names, and we didn't even schedule the flight.

We just took off, flew around the world, And stopped at as many houses as we could in one night.

NOW, we know all the trade secrets,

we know the loop holes,

we know every chimney scenario, and of course.

The whole reason we do this, all of repeat customers. All those boys and girls who land on the nice list year in and year out.

I'll tell you, repeat children and repeat houses, they are my favorite.

I know what I'm getting into before I get there.

I know if they have a dog I have to look out for.

I know which boys and girls will try to sneak a peek.

I know which houses have the best cookies. There's even a few houses that have hot chocolate ready to go.

In many scenarios, We've been going to their homes year after year. We have watched these children grow from when they were infants. Since they were toddlers. We’ve even seen many of their parents, when they were children too.

We’ve seen so many children, over the years, they grow up, become parents, and then their children end up just like them. The Nice ones and the Naughty ones too.

For some reason, I feel like tonight's delivery run is going to be one to remember. There's a different feeling in the air. I don't know when my time as Santa is going to come to an end.

So I will cherish this evening,

I will cherish the sleigh ride,

I will even cherish to soot on my face.

I going to spend a little extra time at each home, not worrying about the clock. Cause we all know, That those out there who still believe in Christmas, and also those who still believe in themselves , they deserve the best. They deserve gifts that can put a smile on their face all year long.

Now I'm realistic, no physical gift can keep them happy until next Christmas. What we need, is a gift of hope.

The gift of an idea,

An idea that gets planted in the minds of creative people,

An idea that gets planted in the minds of loving people.

It's the gift of encouragement in this difficult world.

It's our jobs to uplift the down trodden, to face down challenges together, and to help others overcome negative thinking and self-doubt. I believe, This is something that can make a true difference.

The truth is, every single child out there, every single one of them,... they all have greatness in them,

But the problem is, many people don't believe in themselves anymore.

It’s time to remind people that we believe in them, just as much as they believe in us.

It's time to spread cheer, that can LAST throughout the entire year.

Merry Christmas, Lets have a good run

And when I get back, Pizzas on me.
